Overjet AI has introduced Overjet for Educators

Overjet AI has recently introduced ‘Overjet for Educators’, specifically focused on teaching dental students in dental schools.

Clinicians were already benefiting from the amazing patient education features of Overjet like highlighting different anatomical structures of the tooth, carious lesions, and recession, etc. Now with the introduction of ‘Overjet for Educators’ dental schools can also use the same technology to teach future dentists.

This will help students grasp clinical diagnostic skills in less amount of time. University of Florida College of Dentistry and Western University College of Dental Medicine are the first ones to adopt this technology provided by Overjet AI. WesternU CDM particularly is the first axiUm-MiPACS dental education institution in the U.S. to partner with Overjet. Overjet AI will be used for dental education as well as patient care by the WU College of Dental Medicine.

According to WU CDM Dean Elizabeth Andrews, “This will enhance the learning experience for our students by providing them with clear visualizations that will help them better understand structure and characteristics of the mouth, empowering them to communicate more confidently and effectively with their patients as they become practice ready.”

Overjet AI is the only FDA-approved dental AI technology developed by a Boston-based startup that uses artificial intelligence to assess X-rays for tooth decay and bone loss, assisting in diagnosis in clinical settings. Recently ‘Overjet AI for Kids’ was also introduced, specifically focused on dental issues in children.
